Requirements
Eagle is a local asset management app. The connection needs:
- Eagle installed and running on this machine;
- Eagle's local API on its default port
41595(unchanged and not taken).
Viko only sends content to Eagle when you explicitly save — there is no automatic syncing.
Set up the connection (once)
- Start Eagle;
- Open the extension settings and turn on Enable Eagle;
- Keep the endpoint at the default
localhost:41595(unless you changed it in Eagle); - Adjust the default tags if you like (initially
viko,ai-generated); they are attached on every save; - Click Test connection and confirm it succeeds.
Save a single image
- After a generation completes, click Save to Eagle in the extension panel or the task detail;
- What is saved: the image, the default tags and the source information.
Save history in bulk
- Open the studio History and enter selection mode;
- Select all or pick tasks one by one;
- Choose Save to Eagle; success and failure counts are shown when it finishes.
Connection problems
Three checks in the troubleshooting guide: Eagle is running, the connection is enabled and tested in the extension, and port 41595 has not been changed or taken.
