Install the Chrome extension
- Open the Viko website and click Install extension in the navigation bar to go to the Chrome Web Store;
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm;
- Click the puzzle icon on the right of the browser toolbar and pin Viko.
Chrome for desktop is supported. No browser restart is needed, but pages that were already open must be refreshed once before the floating ball appears on them.
Sign in
- Click the Viko icon in the toolbar to open the panel;
- Sign in with email or Google.
The extension and the web studio share one account: signing in on either side signs you in on both. Recent tasks, collections and palettes sync across devices with your account.
Get credits
Cloud features — reversing and generation — are metered in credits:
- New accounts automatically receive 30 trial credits (valid for 30 days), enough for about 4 full reverse-and-generate runs;
- Lite, Plus, and Pro receive 10, 20, and 30 daily credits, respectively; Free receives none, and unused daily credits do not accumulate;
- Once trial credits are used up, subscribe to any plan for monthly credits — see pricing for what each plan includes;
- Your credit balance is always visible in the extension panel and in the top-right of the studio;
- If a task fails, its credits are refunded automatically — see the task states dictionary.
Confirm everything works
- Clicking the toolbar icon shows your sign-in status and credit balance;
- Hovering a reasonably large image on any page shows the Viko floating ball;
- If the floating ball does not appear, work through the troubleshooting guide.
